Education helps to improve the standard of personal lives and society as a whole in a civilized way. In the olden days, education was through books and lectures. Teaching was done by referring to books written by various authors and made the students sit and write notes in the classrooms. Students were seen in the libraries in those days for referring to their subject books. Nowadays everything like teaching materials and teaching methods is available on websites. These days Tab, computers, Mobile phones are the main instruments for education. In this pandemic period, education through online classes is the only source for the teaching-learning process. The students can get learned the doubts they come across through Google search. The result of the formal education system is a high level of unemployment. It does not graduate secured features. The examination is a scale to measure student’s knowledge, skills, and aptitude. Ultimately it also reflects the skill of the lectures. Examination always makes havoc both mentally and physically among the students but overloading theories and data. Students used to memorize and reproduce it in the examination project-based assessment and related questions make the students improve their knowledge .oral exams help to improve communication skills.

Exams are an important aspect of the educational system. Examination is a constant review or procedure that aims to bring out the best in a student's personality and knowledge. Both examination and assessment are aimed towards the same goal, although they differ in numerous ways. In the sphere of education, the term "evaluation" is relatively recent. It has a broader scope and set of goals than examination. An educational examination is the evaluation of a student's performance when confronted with a series of questions, problems, or tasks in order to determine the amount and effectiveness of abilities that he or she has learned.


Assessments can improve the skill of the students. It can be assessed by conducting tests and quizzes. The outcome of the teaching-learning process is for obtaining adequate knowledge.The time taken and the correctness of the answer given is the measuring rod. Examination provides means to evaluate the student’s knowledge, skills and understanding capacity both qualitative and quantitative. Evaluation is a new concept and examination is an old concept. Education is the term used From the olden days but the evaluation is a term is a developed technical term. Examination is a reproduction of textbooks both in written and oral ways within a stipulated allotted time. Evaluation is a judgment based on the appraisal. Innovative assessment is more realistic and relevant.It reveals the better understanding and knowledge of the student’s. Assessment means appraisal or evaluation. Examination is answering the question in the written or oral form of a textbook and it is a tool for promotions qualifications. Examination is an assessment of a person or subject. In other words, assessment is the gathering of information.


An examination is an assessment to measure the knowledge, skill and aptitude of a person. Examination is a test to judge what the students have learned with the subjects. The strength and the weakness can also be valued through examinations. It gives an opportunity to assess. Assessment is an evaluation and the way to compare the performance. It also evaluates Students' performance and progress. It judges the interest of the students in their learning process. Students must think critically to analyze the given topic or subject. Assessment is the best way to judge the student’s performance. Examination is required for the teaching-learning process. Exams are a crucial tool for assessing pupils' progress and distinguishing proficient from unskilled students. To provide a systematic manner of measuring students' abilities, the lack of guidelines for measuring the reliability and validity of examinations must be addressed. Regular, formative, and competency-based assessments are required. It should encourage pupils to learn and grow. It should concentrate on "assessment for learning." Higher-order abilities such as analysis, critical thinking, and conceptual clarity must also be tested. It should aid in the revision of teaching-learning processes in the educational system. The purpose is to get pupils ready for the twenty-first century. It should encourage critical and creative thinking, which is in line with advanced education skills. Traditional examinations should be replaced by competency-based evaluations. The progress of the pupil should be closely monitored and updated on a regular basis. Tools and resources should be designed to acquire deep learning outcomes.

Hence, it can be concluded that assessment and examination should motivate and encourage students to mold their future and their way of living without environmental disturbances in the path of the upcoming scope of generation. They should be evaded by deep knowledge and covering up with practical experiences which was experimented and evaluated till this development. Education should emphasize and nurture the minds of educationists effectively.
